Music Clearing Minefields Concert Tickets Go Onsale At Noon

Paul McCartney and a wide range of other recording artists are supporting the United Nations Adopt-a-Minefield initiative by offering tickets to their summer and fall tours for a charity online auction. The Adopt-a-Minefield initiative raises money to clear minefields in wartorn parts of the world and prevent maiming and sometimes lethal injuries due to exploding mines. Among the artists participating are Coldplay, Maroon 5, Celine Dion, and Avril Lavigne. The bidding starts today at noon. Visit Charity Folks, host of the auction.
