MTV / VH1 To Rebroadcast Live 8...This Time Without Interruptions

In response to overwhelming comments from viewers, MTV and VH1 will air last weekend's Live 8 concerts tomorrow without interruptions of the performances. Van Toffler, MTVN Music Group President, said "Live 8 was a wonderful, peaceful, global and epic event involving over 150 musical acts playing their hearts out for the noble cause of eradicating poverty worldwide."
VH1 will broadcast the first 5 hours from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. ET on Saturday. MTV will follow with 5 more hours from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. The lineup of artists shown will be tailored to fit the core audience for each network.
