2005 MTV Video Music Award Nominations Announced

The nominations for the 22nd annual MTV Video Music Awards have been announced. The leaders in nominations this year are Green Day (at right) with 8, and Gwen Stefani and Missy Elliott with 6 each. This year's awards will be presented Sunday, August 28th in Miami. P. Diddy has been selected as host and Green Day, Kanye West, and Kelly Clarkson are all slated to perform live.
