Kelly Clarkson Announces "Because Of You" To Be Next Single

Kelly Clarkson's album Breakaway is the 5th best selling album of 2005. It has already given us 3 big hit singles - "Breakaway," "Since U Been Gone," and "Behind These Hazel Eyes." Now Clarkson is trying for a 4th big hit. The next single will be "Because Of You."
It is a song that originated as an idea back when Clarkson was an American Idol contestant. She sang some of her song ideas onto a tape and brought the ideas back out when she was putting together the Breakaway album. Kelly Clarkson chose Evanescence guitarist Ben Moody to help her finish writing the song and produce the recording. Lyrically, the song is a dark exploration of emotional pain from a damaging relationship. Musically, it is a big ballad for a big voice. Reportedly, Clarkson is currently putting together the video for "Because Of You."

Since this comment is years late, I’ve obviously heard and saw the video for Because of You. It rocks! The 1st time I saw it, it brought tears to my eyes because I could relate. It is such an awsome and emotional song and video. Everything ’bout KC rocks!! She rocks!!!!
