White Stripes To Fill In For Spandau Ballet

The Daily Show with Jon Stewart on cable's Comedy Central has never featured a musical guest, but that will soon change. Jack and Meg White, aka the White Stripes, are scheduled to make a live appearance on the show December 1st.

In a press release, Jon Stewart explained the change:

"We've never had a musical performance on the show before -- not because we haven't wanted one -- but because we were holding out for a reunited Spandau Ballet. This will have to suffice."
