Barry Manilow To Coach and Perform On American Idol Next Week

Coming off his recent #1 hit album The Greatest Songs of the Fifties, Barry Manilow will be helping out the American Idol finalists with their own versions of 50's songs. He will appear on the Tuesday, March 21, 2006 show assisting the contestants in putting together their performances. Then Manilow will take the stage for his own performance on the Wednesday night results show.
Don't miss Barry Manilow's appearance at the top of my list of Top 10 Pop Artists for the Terminally Uncool.

I think Barry Manilow is cool. He can sing notes in key; he actually plays music with a melody .. not just noise. I have been a fan since I was 11 yrs old…now 30 yrs later I’m still here tooo.
Well, first of all Barry Manilow will always be the most classy male singer with this Barry Manilow fan of 33 years and still going.
The writer of this article is TOTALLY UNCOOL. YOU ARE NUMBER ON ON THE LIST. HOW MANY NUMBER ONES HAVE YOU HAD, ASS!
Before assuming that placing Barry Manilow at the top of my “uncool” list is an attack on him, I suggest reading both the comments about him on the list and my recent review of his latest album here:

A great deal of Barry Manilow’s charm for his many many fans (myself included) is his steadfast commitment to being true to himself and his music and not pursuing something simply to appear cool or hip.
