Natasha Bedingfield's "Unwritten" is First US Pop #1 by British Female Soloist in 19 Years

It has taken nearly 5 months, but British singer Natasha Bedingfield has scored her first #1 pop single in the U.S. landing at the peak of Billboard's Pop 100 chart. What makes that an even more phenomenal feat is that it is the first #1 pop single in the U.S. for a solo British woman since Kim Wilde topped the U.S. pop singles chart with "You Keep Me Hangin' On" back in 1987.
This is a jumpstart on overall coverage of the U.S. pop charts that will be available later today. Meanwhile, click below to enjoy the music video for "Unwritten"
