Three 6 Mafia in the Studio With Paris Hilton

Wednesday March 29, 2006

I'm not sure I understand the logic here. Three 6 Mafia win a rare Academy Award for a hip hop song ("It's Hard Out Here for a Pimp" from Hustle and Flow), and the next big news is working with the socialite everyone loves to hate, Paris Hilton, on her first ever attempt at recording an album? According to the group they ran into her at a party, she liked their song, and so they agreed to produce and record her music. Simple.

Of course we've already heard that mega-platinum producer Scott Storch has been working with Paris. There were rumors of a romance in that situation. She has also mentioned Dr. Dre as a musical collaborator. Of course, some of the first rumors of Paris Hilton recording music came clear back in late 2003 when she was working with *NSYNC's J.C. Chasez. However, this time, there is a tentative release month set - look for Paris Hilton in record stores this June, 2006.

What do you think of the upcoming Paris Hilton album?

yeah, whoever wrote this needs to check their facts. three six mafia are not the first people to win an academy award for a hip-hop song. Eminem won a few years ago for lose yourself from 8 mile. If you’re going to publish something make sure it’s correct.
