Ok, I know I'm not from England, but Americans can appreciate the power and fun of pop music blended with sports events. However, I'm not quite sure we fully understand the yearning to win the acknowledged top sports crown in the world that our nation once won 40 years ago. The U.S. has never come close.

To be honest, although you may appreciate ‘the power and fun’ of pop music blended with sports events, the fact that you are not English means you cannot appreciate what makes a good England song.
3 Lions is by far the best song, maybe not musically to other people, but because of the meaning to England fans.
