Avril Lavigne and Deryck Whibley Married in California

After much recent speculation, reports are that pop-rock musicians Avril Lavigne, age 21, and Deryck Whibley, age 26, married yesterday July 15, 2006 near Santa Barbara in California. The marriage was a traditional one with the bride wearing a Vera Wang gown and carrying white roses. She was walked down the aisle by her father with Mendelssohn's "Wedding March" playing.
