Snap Judgment: Paolo Nutini - New Shoes

Paolo Nutini is a 19-year-old Scottish singer/songwriter who is already a star in the UK. The teenager's rise to popularity has been swift. He was signed to Atlantic Records in May, 2005 and by July, 2006 he was debuting on the UK pop singles chart at #5 with the song "Last Request." His first album These Streets reached #3 on the UK album chart and has been certified platinum.

Paolo Nutini's songs are often autobiographical and influenced by soulful American r&b singers. His first release in the US is the EP "Live Sessions" recorded at a series of small venues in London. Listen to "New Shoes" and let us know your snap judgment!
