Bryce Avary is not new to the music business, but the chances are his music is new to your ears, and it will be a welcome introduction. Avary records and tours as the Rocket Summer. In concert the Rocket Summer is a band, but in concept, the music is all Bryce.
The third Rocket Summer album, and major label debut, Do You Feel, entered stores this past July. It entered the top 50 on the album chart but quickly faded from the charts. Some may have thought that was all we would hear from the Rocket Summer until next album. However, the single "So Much Love" is picking up some momentum. The Rocket Summer were a recent User's Choice for Yahoo's popular Who's Next program, and "So Much Love" just topped Fuse TV's Oven Fresh. The most exciting part of these recent victories is that the music deserves your attention. The Rocket Summer churns out catchy, upbeat, positive pop-rock that is guaranteed to make you smile.
