A Second Chance To Hear Forgotten American Idol Favorites

Thursday January 24, 2008

If you are like many American Idol fans, you remember some past contestants that you have wished didn't just disappear into obscurity once the show was over. You might have thought the time in the spotlight for Ryan Starr, A.J. Tabaldo, or Alaina Alexander was possibly just a little too short. Now, beginning February 5, 2008, you will have the chance to sample new, unreleased music by a host of your favorite former American Idol contestants.

Artists' Addiction Records and Rocket Science are joining together to release the Curtain Call series of albums that will include 3 new songs by 4 former American Idol contestants on each volume. The first volume, due in stores on February 5, will feature new music from Jon Peter Lewis (pictured at right), Ryan Starr, A.J. Tabaldo, and Stevie Scott. The second volume, tentatively scheduled for March 4, will include Alaina Alexander, Rudy Cardenas, Patrick Hall, and Gedeon McKinney. Future artists are yet to be announced.

The Curtain Call collections will be available exclusively through Wal-Mart and iTunes.
