Now, how many times do we have to say this? When you go to see Rihanna in concert, leave the umbrellas at home! According to NME, when Rihanna toured the UK, local venue officials were confiscating umbrellas from those attending the concert. As fits her smash hit "Umbrella," many fans brought their own umbrella in solidarity with the star. However, since Rihanna dances onstage with umbrellas in the show, the officials didn't want fans crowded together trying to emulate the show and injuring each other in the process.
Rihanna heads out on the road in North America with Kanye West beginning in mid-April. My best advice - wear a raincoat if necessary, and leave the umbrella in the car!
