Artist in the Wings: Eric Hutchinson

Last fall Eric Hutchinson's self-released album Sounds Like This was released. It received some national notice from sources like the Washington Post. The collection became the highest charting album yet on iTunes by an unsigned artist. Warner Bros. came calling and signed Hutchinson to a contract that will result in a re-release of Sounds Like This May 20, 2008.

Eric Hutchinson's music can be described as blue-eyed soul, but that would miss the true diversity in his music. Hutchinson was one of the buzz performers at this years SXSW Music Festival in Austin, Texas. He has toured with OneRepublic and Jack's Mannequin.
