Artist in the Wings - Safetysuit

Their major label debut album Life Left to Go has been out since May on major label Universal. However, through support from modern rock radio and VH1 TV exposure, it looks like Safetysuit may be on the brink of pop stardom as well. Although they are based out of Nashville, the sound of Safetysuit is big, grand rock in the tradition of U2, their biggest influence.

The single "Someone Like You" reached the top 20 of Billboard's modern rock chart. The band also made a recent appearance on MTV's hit series The Hills. They have also performed live on VH1. Look for Safetysuit as a strong bet to soon be filling that rock niche on mainstream pop radio.
