Beyonce Swings for the Fences on New Singles "If I Were a Boy" and "Single Ladies"

Just one day later than originally announced, Beyonce unleashed not one but two new singles yesterday. Stylistically, the pair are very distinctive from each other, but both are pure Beyonce. To my ears, "If I Were a Boy" sounds like an "Irreplaceable" size smash. However, that is only if it doesn't get overshadowed by the power bounce of "Single Ladies," an extension of the style of "Get Me Bodied" from B'Day.
If these singles are any indication of what's to come, Beyonce's I Am... album, due in stores November 18th, is an event well worth anticipating. Beyonce's talent and power as a performer continues to grow with each new release.

LOVE the singles. This is one diverse singer! Most artists today or in the past could sing a song like Crazy In Love to If I were a boy…she is a pure talent.

THE QUEEN “B” IS BACK!!!!!
The power in her voice in If I were a boy is absolutely AMAZING!!! It almost brings you to tears, the words are so soulful and yet so true. It is such a personal song and she sings it beautifully.
Fast forward to Single Ladies. Another hit for the clubs, but to me it sounds like were Get Me Bodies meets Crazy in Love. Once again she is stirring up trouble for the men

I have 2 plugs in my ear – each playing one of the singles because I can’t stop listening to either one!!! To all those lip-synching depending on your background and dancers and stage and costumes (Rihanna!) – The Queen B is back to show you how it’s done and what you’re chasing baby!!!
I love “If I Were a Boy”. It’s so sad and Beyonce sings her heart out. Beautiful song!
Both songs and videos are hot…I have never been more excited about getting a Beyonce album as I am about this one. She is always raising the bar and taking the industry with her…keep producing new and original music and great videos….wow I can’t wait for this album to drop it is going to be FIRE!!! I love you Beyonce and keep the great songs and videos coming…true fans (and people that hate on you) can’t help but keep appreciating it!!!! I love both equally because they are so different…I can’t decide I am stuck…and both videos are crazy…
