More Details Unfold for David Archuleta's Debut

Sources who claim they are close to the action are starting to release details on tracks included on American Idol runner-up David Archuleta's upcoming debut album. One of the tracks, "A Little Too Not Over You," has been leaked onto the Internet. Check it out below.
The album is set for a November 11, 2008 release, and the planned cover is shown at right. Thus far the self-titled album's first single "Crush" has reached #12 on the US pop singles chart and #2 on the Billboard Hot 100. It is a also a top 10 hit in Canada. Archuleta's debut will arrive one week in advance of the first post-American Idol album from this year's winner David Cook.

I love the song!!! David Archuleta is amazing. He is so talented. His voice is so pure, completely different from what I’ve heard before. It is incredible; such a beautiful voice and he is only 17 years old. There is not doubt this kid will have an amazing music career. I’ll definitely by his CD on 11/11.

David is really coming into his own with this new cd. This song is my ‘newest’ favorite! The ending really gives me goosebumps and I can’t help but sing along (at the top of my voice – HA!) I think for the first time EVER I will love every song on a cd!!! The waiting seems endless!

Very talented young man w/mad vocal kills, have heard snippets of some of the songs on album. It will be an instant hit for sure. It is an awesome mix of of genres. Can’t wait for Nov. 11!!!
David is AWESOME!! He can do no wrong. This 17 year old prodigy can sing anything. I’ve always known that his voice is soulful, rich, smooth, heavenly, angelic. After hearing a few of the songs on his upcoming album, I must add that his voice is very mature and very SENSUAL!!! Look out ladies, he is only going to get better with age. Can you imagine David Archuleta’s voice at late 20s and early 30s and not to mention his looks. Like I said….. LOOK OUT LADIES!!!
David, you are incredible! Love everything that he sings, the heart, the soul, amazing vocals — it’s all there. Counting down the days until his album is released. I have never waited with such anticipation for anyone’s album more than this one, he’s the best!

I’ve listened to the whole album now and I’m disappointed by the 2 so-so reviews today that I’ve read from the critics. This album is all kinds of awesome!! It has something on it for everyone! David’s voice is A++ as usual and I can’t wait to see him on Leno tonight! He’s such a sweet,genuine kid and he’s so unaffected by his success so far. We need more people like him in the pop world today. Congrats David!! This one is a winner!!
