Is Kelly Clarkson Ready With a New Hot Pop Single?

Tuesday November 18, 2008

With her recent touring with country star Reba McEntire, it would not be a surprise to Kelly Clarkson fans if her next recording efforts would turn in a country direction. However, that does not seem to be the case. On October 24, 2008, Clarkson announced on her blog that she has finished recording her new album. Dr. Luke, who has worked as producer on the album, told EW.com that a new Kelly Clarkson single could be out as early as December but is more likely in January. He said the song in question, titled "My Life Would Suck Without You," is definitely not a country record. Dr. Luke has worked with Max Martin on the project, and that has raised hopes for the new song's success. The pair were key figures behind Clarkson's massive "Since U Been Gone" hit.

Here’s hoping the first single comes out very soon. I can’t wait to hear that sweet velvet tone of her’s on the radio again. Please let it come out in December.

I was wondering what happened to her. It was like she disappeared from radio. I’m glad to hear she’ll be back with something new, I love her voice, and her music :)

I hope it’s just a rumor. The song title sounds stupid.

Can’t wait! “Sober” should have been SUCH a huge hit but her record company wouldn’t back her up on it, such a shame. They’d better do well by her this time!
