In 2005 when Rob Thomas first stepped away from his band Matchbox Twenty for the solo album ...Something To Be, he debuted at #1 on the charts and ended up with a platinum-certified first effort. The album included the major hit single "Lonely No More" and topped album charts in 15 different countries.
Rob Thomas' second album Cradlesong will be in stores June 30, 2009. The first single "Her Diamonds" is set to hit radio in mid-April. The producer of the new collection is Matt Serletic, Thomas' collaborator on his first album. Combining all of his efforts, it is estimated that Rob Thomas has contributed to sales of approximately 80 million albums.
