Finally Some Details on Kris Allen In the Studio

Monday July 6, 2009

Recent weeks have been filled with news about American Idol runner-up Adam Lambert including details on studio work with RedOne and others. Finally, we have some news about this year's American Idol winner Kris Allen and his studio work. Reportedly Kris Allen has spent studio time with songwriters Toby Gad (co-writer of Beyonce's "If I Were a Boy" and the Veronicas' "Untouched") and Claude Kelly (co-writer of Britney Spears' "Circus"). Today USA Today is reporting that Kris Allen wants to break tradition and work with one producer for his entire album. He says, "The albums that I listen to and really appreciate, they all have that one-producer thing. Every song sounds different, but they still have that something about them that sounds the same." Kris Allen says it's down to two that he's deciding between and either of them would be a great choice. Stay tuned for a future announcement on the decision.
