Trio of Singing Soldiers Hit Big on UK Chart With Coming Home

Sergeant Major Gary Chilton, Sergeant Richie Maddocks and Lance Corporal Ryan Idzi are real British soldiers who have come together as a vocal trio to record an album. 24 year old Ryan Idzi previously competed on X Factor and made it to the bootcamp segment. He has served in both Afghanistan and Iraq as part of the 20th Armoured Brigade. Gary Chilton and Richie Maddocks are both veterans of the Gulf War. Released last week in the UK, their album Coming Home is mostly a collection of covers. It debuted inside the top 5 on the UK album chart. A portion of the album's proceeds go to charities including Help For Heroes, the British Legion and the Army Benevolent Fund. Check out the trio below singing the original title song "Coming Home."
