Cheryl Cole was already quite popular in the UK as a member of the girl group Girls Aloud and a judge and mentor on the talent show X Factor. Now she has become the hottest new solo pop star of the year topping the charts with her single "Fight for This Love" and album 3 Words. I featured CC’s great “Fight for this Love” as one of my songs of the week for October as it is a classic slice of girl pop but I’m a bit disappointed by the rest of the album. Even the Will.iam collab doesn’t really do it for me.
