There are results being announced tonight? With the lineup of two of today's hottest new stars and one of the most popular past American Idol champions taking the stage, you will be forgiven if you lose your concentration on who is eliminated. Ke$ha (at right) has been a dominant force in pop music so far in 2010. Her single "Tik Tok" spent nine weeks at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and her debut album Animal topped the charts. Australian singer and guitarist Orianthi is currently at #3 on the US pop radio airplay chart and inside the top 20 on the Billboard Hot 100 with her debut single "According To You." Her album Believe topped the US Heatseekers chart. David Cook was chosen American Idol winner in 2008. His self-titled debut album has sold over one million copies and he has three top 40 pop singles from the album with two of those, "Light On" and "The Time of My Life" being certified platinum for digital downloads.
