This fall it looks like we will get to see if Susan Boyle can do for book sales what she did late last year for album sales. BBC News is reporting that Susan Boyle has signed a contract with Transworld to publish her autobiography. The working title for the book is The Woman I Was Born To Be.

Susan Boyle says of the book, "I'm writing this book to try to show that you shouldn't judge a book by its cover and I hope it will benefit other people." She went from an unlikely contestant on Britain's Got Talent to a superstar through viral video on YouTube. Her debut album I Dreamed a Dream became an instant smash in late 2009 selling over 3 million copies in the US by the end of the year. Total worldwide sales are now estimated in the range of 10 million. Susan Boyle says of herself, "I think I've grown up a lot in the last year, become more of a lady, and I'm not so frightened any more."

More music from Susan Boyle is also expected by the end of the year. November is the tentative release date, and she has indicated there may be 60's style music and jazz included. She has also had something to say about a potential collaborator. Scotland's Daily Record has quoted Susan Boyle saying, "I think Lady Gaga is a wonderful artist and completely original and I like her costumes. Love it! Yes, I'd love to do a duet with her, complete with telephone hat too!"
