Hopefully, this time US pop radio will be listening. Kylie Minogue has revealed her new single "All the Lovers" to near rapturous acclaim from fans and critics alike. If you were to throw most all of what has made Kylie Minogue one of the world's biggest pop stars into one song, it might sound quite a bit like "All the Lovers." It is pure, frothy, upbeat dance-pop fun. Look for this one to easily become her 31st top 10 pop hit in the UK and a strong likelihood to be her seventh #1.
Despite ranking as one of the top pop stars of all time in the UK, Kylie Minogue has reached the pop top 10 in the US only twice. "The Loco-Motion" hit #3 back in 1988, and "Can't Get You Out Of My Head" reached #7 in 2001. The current popularity of upbeat dance-pop in the US would make "All the Lovers" a perfect addition to radio playlists. Look for the song available as a digital download June 13, 2010, and the album Aphrodite to hit stores the first week of July.
