It seems the Grammy Awards are convinced that a concert is a better way to announce major nominees than simply celebrities standing at a podium to read off those vying for the awards. For the third year in a row, the Grammy Awards will present a televised special to announce nominees for key accolades. This year's event will take place December 1, 2010 and be broadcast in an hour long live show on CBS beginning at 10 p.m. ET. The 53rd Grammy Awards ceremony will then follow on February 13, 2011 being broadcast live from Los Angeles' Staples Center.
