Shakira and Dizzee Rascal Team Up On New "Loca" Single

Shakira made a dual announcement today. The first is that she will have a new album, Sale El Sol / The Sun Comes Out, hitting stores October 19, 2010. It is expected to be either primarily in Spanish or bilingual like Enrique Iglesias' current album Euphoria. She has also just debuted a new single "Loca." It is an interpretation of the song "Loca Con Su Tiguere" by Dominican artist El Cata. There is a Spanish version and an English version. The English version features red hot British rapper Dizzee Rascal who has had four #1 UK pop singles in the last three years. For those who are fans of Shakira's "Hips Don't Lie," I think you will welcome the new song. The new album also includes Shakira's World Cup hit "Waka Waka (This Time for Africa)."
