It might seem like most of the talk recently about records set by pop performers has been centered on either Lady Gaga or Katy Perry. Now 22 year old Rihanna wants to make sure she is not lost in the shuffle. This week "Love the Way You Lie," her massive hit with Eminem passes the three million digital sales plateau. This means that Rihanna now is the first artist to have five singles that have sold more than three million copies. They are the following:
- 2007 - "Umbrella" featuring Jay-Z
- 2007 - "Don't Stop the Music"
- 2008 - "Disturbia"
- 2008 - "Live Your Life" with T.I.
- 2010 - "Love the Way You Lie" with Eminem
Next in line following Rihanna is a four way tie among Black Eyed Peas, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, and Lil Wayne with three singles each that have sold over three million copies.
