American Idol viewers have selected Jessica Sanchez and Phillip Phillips to compete in the season 11 finale. Unfortunately, that means they eliminated Joshua Ledet, arguably the most gifted performer ever to be an American Idol contestant. The other two contestants are impressively talented and have the ability to deliver showstopping performances. However, neither can match the consistency with which Joshua Ledet dug into every song he was asked to sing and delivered spine-tingling moment after spine-tingling moment. However, he will join the ranks of such gifted artists as Jennifer Hudson, Chris Daughtry, and Adam Lambert who were all eliminated ahead of what seemed lesser talents. Next week the 11th season of American Idol rolls to its climax when Jessica Sanchez or Phillip Phillips will be crowned the show's newest champion.

to be candid about the results, Joshua’s screaming (a Fantasia copy-cat, incidentally Fantasia is his idol) which question his sexuality and the “over-praising” of the judges made him lost the chance to be in the finale. And again, let’s face it – Joshua has the talent but he lacks the entire package of winning IDOL.
Something was seriously wrong with the phone lines during voting. I originally thought it was just me, but several comments have been made about this being a broad issue on a social media site. I would be very curious to see the percentage of votes scrutinized in comparison to previous weeks and try to determine if indeed there is validity to the possibility of phone line issues.
Joshua must be in the finale…Now American Idol without Joshua is nothing…he must be the winner, and he is the winner for me…and a lot of people think the same…i’m from peru!
Joshua is the winner…no one else
