We are moving ever closer to the return of No Doubt. Back in May the group announced a release date for their upcoming studio album, the first new one in nearly 11 years. Now it has a title. Push and Shove will hit stores September 25, 2012. It will be preceded by the single "Settle Down" which will make its appearance July 16, 2012. A music video for "Settle Down" will premiere early in July. It was put together by veteran music video director Sophie Muller. She has worked on the group's "Don't Speak" and "Underneath It All" videos in the past.
No Doubt's last studio album Rock Steady was a top 10 hit in the US and has sold nearly three million copies. It includes the two top 10 pop hit singles "Hey Baby" and "Underneath It All." A third single "Hella Good" was a #1 dance hit and a top 10 adult pop hit. The group began work on the new album with songwriting back in 2008. The new album is expected to remain true to No Doubt's roots as a ska band.
