There is no word on official release dates. Rumors point most strongly at late this year or early 2013 for a new album from Lady Gaga. However, we do now have a name for the new project. Over the weekend she tweeted this image with the words, "New ink new album." Lady Gaga has also asked that when writing about the new project, it be written POPART in all caps. She says, "It's all in the details."
Lady Gaga's first two full-length albums were multi-platinum hits. They have generated 11 consecutive top 10 pop hit singles. Lady Gaga has also been nominated for 15 Grammy Awards in just four years. She has won eight of those. ARTPOP will be one of the most eagerly awaited new pop albums.
