Each year the premier US tennis event, the US Open, sponsors an annual Arthur Ashe Kids' Day to help kick off the festivities. This day has evolved to become a leading pop music event of the year among those focused on young fans. This year's Arthur Ashe Kids' Day promises to be one of the biggest yet. This year's headlining music acts are The Wanted and Carly Rae Jepsen with a special appearance from Owl City. The event takes place this Saturday, August 25, 2012 in Flushing, New York. CBS will broadcast coverage of the event nationally on Sunday, August 26, 2012 from 12 - 1:30 p.m.
In addition to the live music, tennis stars Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic, and John Isner will appear. This will be the 17th year for the Arthur Ashe Kids' Day. Past years have featured such pop music stars as Justin Bieber, Rihanna, and Britney Spears.
