The suspense is over. When Billboard's Hot 100 chart is officially published tomorrow morning, Taylor Swift will be sitting at #1 for the first time. Her song "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" surges from last week's #72 debut with two days of radio airplay to #1 after a full week of sales and radio. Assisting in the leap is a sales total of 623,000 copies, the second highest ever. It looks like the song could stay awhile as well since radio airplay across pop and country genres has been very, very strong. "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" is the first single from the upcoming album Red which is due in stores October 22, 2012. Taylor Swift has announced she will be performing at the MTV Video Music Awards September 6, 2012 and will reveal another new song at that time.
