K-Pop has its first major US pop hit. South Korean rapper Psy is likely to debut in the Billboard Hot 100 when the chart is released tomorrow morning. With a boost from yesterday's appearance on Ellen (see below), his song "Gangnam Style" is now lodged inside the top 10 of the iTunes digital sales chart. He has also climbed into the top 10 at Amazon as well. The song is also making progress at mainstream pop radio. It looks like "Gangnam Style" is sweeping the world as a major pop hit. In Denmark, Finland, and the Netherlands, the song is a top 5 pop single.
