X Factor UK has produced another new pop star. 17 year old Amelia Lily finished third on last year's X Factor UK. Originally eliminated in the initial round of live shows, she was brought back into the competition by a public vote after Frankie Cocozza was disqualified. "You Bring Me Joy" is Amelia Lily's first official single release. The song was written and produced by the team known as Xenomania. They have been responsible for such key British pop hits as Sugababes' "Round Round" and Girls Aloud's "Sound Of the Underground." Amelia Lily's "You Bring Me Joy" debuted this week at #2 on the UK pop singles chart. A full-length album is expected by the end of the year.
