On the heels of a big Video of the Year win at the MTV Video Music Awards, Rihanna is leading the pack with the most nominations for the MTV Europe Music Awards. She has six nods including Song of the Year and Video of the Year. Just behind her is Taylor Swift with five nominations. Both Justin Bieber and Katy Perry received four nominations. Although American and British artists often dominate the nominations in major categories at the MTV Europe Music Awards, regional artists are also recognized. The MTV Europe Music Awards were established in 1994. This year's ceremony will be held in Frankfurt, Germany on November 11, 2012. Check out major nominees below.
