Bruno Mars is returning with a major splash. Today, October 1, 2012, his new single "Locked Out Of Heaven" will debut live on the Bruno Mars YouTube channel at 7 p.m. ET. It is the first release from the upcoming second solo album Unorthodox Jukebox. News was also announced today that Bruno Mars will be both host and musical guest on Saturday Night Live October 20, 2012. It is a rare occurrence that one person serves as both host and the musical guest. Mick Jagger performed both roles on the show last spring. The album Unorthodox Jukebox is set to hit stores December 11, 2012 just in time for last minute Christmas gift giving.
Doo-Wops and Hooligans, the debut album from Bruno Mars, has sold over 1.5 million copies. It also generated seven Grammy Award nominations. Four singles were certified platinum and two of those, "Just the Way You Are" and "Grenade," were #1 hits. Unorthodox Jukebox is set to be one of the top albums of the season.
