Although they are lagging behind Ke$ha's new hit "Die Young" at mainstream pop radio, One Direction are ruling sales at iTunes on the first day of release for the single "Live While We're Young." The boy band has even managed to surge past Psy's international smash "Gangnam Style." It is not a huge surprise considering One Direction broke records for the most pre-orders for a digital song. "Live While We're Young" is the first single from the upcoming second album Take Me Home by the group. It is set to land in stores in a little over a month November 13, 2012. Fall is traditionally the busiest time of the year for top pop releases, and 2012 is no different. One Direction will be part of an upcoming slugfest for the top of the pop singles chart.
