According to Billboard, Beyonce will be performing the halftime show for Super Bowl XLVII in New Orleans, Louisiana on February 3, 2013. The quoted source spoke anonymously but said the official announcement would be made tomorrow. This would not be the first time Beyonce has performed at the Super Bowl. She sang the national anthem at the opening of Super Bowl XXXVIII in 2004. Just as Madonna chose high profile collaborators earlier this year when she performed the Super Bowl halftime show, there is already speculation whether a Beyonce performance would include guests such as her husband Jay-Z and former Destiny's Child members Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams. Beyonce is the winner of 16 Grammy Awards and has 12 top 10 pop hit singles as a lead peformer.
