Normally I would not be discussing political matters in these pages. However, due to the fact that this song and video are created in part by major pop music artists and songwriters and they were created without funding from political organizations, I decided the effort is worth mentioning. "Forward" is a song co-written in part by Danielle Brisebois and Gregg Alexander of the New Radicals. Danielle Brisebois is also known for co-writing and producing the Natasha Bedingfield smash "Unwritten." The song is performed by Ne-Yo, Johnny Rzeznik of Goo Goo Dolls, folk rock band Delta Rae, jazz legend Herbie Hancock, and Natasha Bedingfield. "Forward" was produced by Grammy Award winner John Shanks known for his work with Kelly Clarkson among many others. The accompanying music video is a rousing argument for re-election. "Forward" may be downloaded for free or purchased at iTunes. All proceeds go to benefit Ne-Yo's Compound Foundation which supports foster children and to arts education in the schools.
