They survived the tragic death of lead vocalist Michael Hutchence 15 years ago, but it looks like Australia's INXS are breaking up. There has been no official announcement released, but the band themselves announced the impending end of the group during a concert in Perth, Australia on Sunday. In the late 1980s and early 1990s the group released three multi-platinum albums and placed seven singles in the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 including the #1 hit "Need You Tonight." The group suffered a massive blow when charismatic group leader Michael Hutchence died in 1997, but the group did get back together and even placed the single "Pretty Vegas" in the top 40 in 2005. It featured J.D. Fortune, the winner of Rock Star: INXS as lead vocalist. The band's current lead singer is Irish vocalist Ciaran Gribbin. As recent as 2010 INXS manager Chris Murphy had said he was, "setting up a strategy that will last 20 years." Remember the glory days of INXS below watching "Need You Tonight."
