Taylor Swift made her first live appearance ever at the MTV Europe awards yesterday. It turned out to be a good luck charm as she took home three trophies including Best Female, Best Live Act, and Best Look. Keeping pace with her was Justin Bieber who took home three awards of his own. They included Best Male, Best Pop, and Best Worldwide Stage Act. The surprise of the night was that Rihanna, who led the nominations pack with sex, received no awards on the evening. The Best Song award went to Carly Rae Jepsen's breakthrough "Call Me Maybe" which has now gone to #1 in 47 different countries. Current massive hit "Gangnam Style" by Psy was given the Best Video Award for what has become one of the biggest viral videos of all time. The celebration also included a moving tribute to Whitney Houston. Check out the list of top winners below.
