It looks like another very festive Christmas In Rockefeller Center this year. The 15th annual TV special will air Wednesday, November 28, 2012 8 p.m. ET on NBC. Headlining the show will be Mariah Carey who recorded "All I Want For Christmas Is You," one of the undisputed contemporary pop Christmas classics. She will be joined by Rod Stewart. His new holiday album Merry Christmas, Baby has spent the last two weeks at #3 on the album chart. Cee Lo Green will also bring music from his new Christmas collection Cee Lo's Magic Moment. Others expected to take part include Victoria Justice, country singer Trace Adkins, Billy Crystal, and Bette Midler.

A centerpiece of the TV special is the lighting of the 80 foot tall Christmas tree at Rockefeller Center. The first Christmas tree at the site was lit in 1933. The tree lighting ceremony from Rockefeller Center was first presented on NBC TV in 1951.
