Paul McCartney, Bruce Springsteen, and Kanye West To Headline Hurricane Sandy Benefit Concert

The music industry is continuing to band together to assist victims of Hurricane Sandy which slammed into the northeast coast of the US at the end of October. A benefit concert dubbed 12.12.12 : Concert For Sandy Relief is scheduled for Madison Square Garden in New York City on December 12, 2012. The event will feature some of the top recording artists of all time including Paul McCartney, Bruce Springsteen, Kanye West, Jon Bon Jovi, Alicia Keys, Billy Joel, the Who, and Roger Waters. All proceeds will go to the Robin Hood Relief Fund to assist victims of the hurricane. Additional recording artists have individually donated large sums of money including $1 million from Lady Gaga. There are plans to show the concert on TV as well, but no details have yet been released.
