Cher's First New Album In More Than a Decade Is Due March 2013

Billboard is reporting that Warner Bros. has confirmed Cher's first new album since 2001's Living Proof is set to hit stores in late March 2013. Back in Thanksgiving week she unveiled the song "Woman's World" from the project. On Twitter Cher indicated it would be a dance album with "big ass choruses" and some "heart rippers." In the past decade she has continued to endear herself to dance music audiences with five top 10 dance hits, four of which went all the way to #1. Few details are available about the upcoming album but rumors have persisted that Lady Gaga has collaborated on at least one track. Cher is also planning a new world concert tour in support of the album.
