fun We Are Young

For many pop fans who fell in love with the band fun the very first time they heard the massive breakthrough hit single "We Are Young," the group's sweep to nominations in the Grammy Awards' top 4 categories tonight would be no surprise. They added two more pop nominations for Best Duo or Group and Best Pop Vocal Album. Jeff Bhasker, producer of fun's Some Nights album, also received a Producer of the Year, Non-Classical, nod. If there will be an artist to match Adele's Grammy sweep early this year, it will be the group fun.

The only other recording to receive both Song of the Year and Record of the Year nominations is Kelly Clarkson's #1 smash hit "Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You)." Her album Stronger also received a nod as Best Pop Vocal Album.  Five other artists also received a total of six nominations.  They include Frank Ocean, Dan Auerbach of the Black Keys, Jay-Z, Kanye West, and Mumford and Sons.  The 55th annual Grammy Awards will be presented February 10, 2013 in Los Angeles.
