Mariah Carey's signature holiday song "All I Want For Christmas Is You" has sold more than two million digital copies, but due to past chart rules it has never been a top 40 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 until now. With surging sales and radio airplay during the holidays, "All I Want For Christmas Is You" lands at #29 this week. Previously the song spent one week on the Hot 100 at #83 in 2000. The new top 40 appearance makes "All I Want For Christmas Is You" Mariah Carey's 34th top 40 hit. That moves her into fourth place all time among women with the most top 40 appearances. Madonna ranks at #1 with 49, Aretha Franklin has 43, and Taylor Swift has amassed 39.
