The big pop music surprise of the week is the appearance yesterday of Fall Out Boy's new single "My Songs Know What You Did In the Dark (Light Em Up)" and the news that Save Rock and Roll, their first new album in over three years, is scheduled to hit stores in May. Last night the group played a live show at the Subterranean Club in Chicago. After the performance bass player Pete Wentz wrote online that the upcoming collection is, "The best album we've ever made." He said, "It doesn't sound like the other Fall Out Boy albums, but it sounds exactly like Fall Out Boy in 2013." Fall Out Boy will also launch a tour to support the new music. "My Songs Know What You Did In the Dark" instantly surged up the iTunes digital sales chart to #2 just behind Macklemore and Ryan Lewis' "Thrift Shop." Fall Out Boy have released three top 10 chart albums and three top 10 pop hit singles. Check out the best of their work below.
