Macklemore and Ryan Lewis' "Thrift Shop" Leads the 10 Bestselling Songs Of 2013's First Half

SoundScan has released the ranking of the bestselling songs for the first half of 2013. Far out in front is Macklemore and Ryan Lewis' breakthrough hit single "Thrift Shop." It is one of two songs by the duo in the top 10. They are the only recording act placing two songs in the list. All of the songs have been major pop hits. Even the country song "Cruise" by Florida Georgia Line surged into pop charts after a remix featuring rapper Nelly was released. Holding the #2 spot is one of the biggest hits of Pink's illustrious career. Her featured performer, Nate Ruess of the group fun, is the only artist who was also in the top 10 last year at this time with fun's breakthrough hit "We Are Young" placing at #2 in the first half of 2012.
